Brian Robertson

Brian Robertson is the founder and CEO of Ternary Software, an award-winning outsourced software development company and lean software process consultancy. In addition to his work leading Ternary, Mr. Robertson is known internationally for pioneering Holacracy™, a system for harnessing agility in all aspects of organizational governance, execution, and culture. He frequently teaches and speaks at conferences, occasionally as a keynote, and his published writings have been translated into several languages. His 20-year background in software spans many roles, and he was pioneering agile processes before “agile” was coined.

Alexia Bowers

Alexia Bowers (“Lex”) is a co-founder of Ternary Software. Her operational leadership has helped the firm become one of the fastest-growing privately-held companies in the region for several years running. In addition to corporate management, Lex has led numerous projects at Ternary for early-stage through Fortune-100 clients in multiple industries. She holds a Masters Degree of Software Engineering from Penn State University and a Masters Degree in Cognitive and Neural Psychology from the University of South Florida. Her academic background also includes four years of teaching undergraduate-level courses in Learning & Behavior and Motivation, and significant lab work as a Neuroscientist and Ph.D. student.

Anthony Moquin

Anthony Moquin (“Anth”) is a co-founder of Ternary Software and an experienced practitioner of agile and lean processes at all levels of organization, from project teams through executive teams. In addition to direct leadership and coaching, he frequently spends time coaching the coaches and mentoring current and upcoming leaders in agile techniques and underlying principles. Anth's leadership has contributed to an impeccable track-record of successful software project delivery, and he's often cited as a profoundly positive contributor by both clients and those he leads. Prior to founding Ternary, Anth held numerous technical leadership roles throughout his 22-year background in software design and programming.

Tom Thomison

Tom Thomison serves as CEO of HolacracyOne. With over 20 years of entrepreneurial and professional experience, Mr. Thomison has carried responsibilities spanning most aspects of business, including strategy development, finance, operations, human resources, marketing, technology, and business development. He has founded three companies, one of which was sold in a public transaction, and has helped grow several startup organizations. In addition to his direct business leadership experience, Mr. Thomison has served as a management consultant to small and medium sized businesses in the areas of strategy, human resources, technology, and marketing, and he has consulted to Fortune class companies in the areas of business process analysis, documentation, and enterprise technology management.
