Brian Robertson
Brian Robertson is the founder and Chairman of Ternary Software, an award-winning outsourced software development company and lean software process consultancy. In addition to his work leading Ternary, Mr. Robertson is known internationally for pioneering Holacracy™, a system for harnessing agility in all aspects of organizational governance, execution, and culture. He frequently teaches and speaks at conferences, occasionally as a keynote, and his published writings have been translated into several languages. His 20-year background in software spans many roles, and he was pioneering agile processes before “agile” was coined.
Michael Lewis
Michael Lewis is the President & CEO of Ternary Software. He has over 20 years experience in technology company leadership. Most recently, Mike was President & CEO of InterLok Key Management, a start-up encryption software company. Prior to that, he was President & CEO of eLinear, Inc., an AMEX listed company. In this role, he grew the company’s revenue from $13 million to $30 million while more than doubling gross margins. Before eLinear, Michael was President & CEO of LIBAC Corporation, a financial document software-as-a-service company. He also served as SVP and GM of ComputerTech, and GM of Compucom Systems, Inc. Mike holds a Bachelor's in business management from the University of Redlands. He has been invited to sit on executive boards for Intel, Compaq/HP, 3Com, Cable & Wireless, Tektronix, and Secure Computing.
Joanne McCool
Joanne McCool is the COO of Ternary Software and has over 20 years experience driving and delivering operational, organizational and financial results in both profit and not-for-profit settings. Prior to joining Ternary, she was with Primavera Systems, most recently in the role of VP & General Manager for their enterprise resource management line of business. Joanne holds a Masters in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania. She is on the advisory board of PSVillage, an online community for leaders in the technical professional services field and is a board member and active volunteer for The Career Wardrobe, a nonprofit organization helping women in transition return to the workforce.
